Location

Aerial view of Galmisdale Bay and South Bay with Ardnamurchan in the distance

We are situated on Galmisdale Point, close to the new pier and at the head of the old Galmisdale pier. These piers are the docking points for all ferries visiting the island.

The bays around this area provide perfect sheltered anchorage for both yachts and other visiting boats.

Our outside seated areas offer uninterrupted views.

From our patio, overlooking the South Bay, you can see out to Ardnamurchan Point  (the most westerly point on mainland Britain) and on a clear day Coll and Tiree.

From the front, looking North East over Galmisdale Bay, the view overlooks Kildonan Bay with Skye and the mountains of Lochaber in the distance.
To the East, helping shelter the bays around the pier, is Castle Island.

As well as our Cafe, you will find the Isle of Eigg Shop, Craftshop and public toilets. Bike and kayak hire is also available with Eigg Adventures and there is a taxi service available.
